Researcher Liu Yang, Assistant Professor Yoshitatsu Sugishita, and Professor Shinya Hanaoka Receive JTTRI Best Paper Award at the 28th ATRS World Conference

Researcher Liu Yang, Assistant Professor Yoshitatsu Sugishita, and Professor Shinya Hanaoka received the JTTRI Best Paper Award at the 28th World Conference of the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS) held in Hong Kong from July 1 to July 4, 2025.
ATRS is the world’s largest international academic society for air transport and holds its world conference every July.
The JTTRI Best Paper Award is a special best paper award sponsored by the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute (JTTRI). It is awarded to outstanding research aligned with a theme determined each year. The theme for 2025 was “Innovation,” which covered not only technology but also policy, systems, and operations.
